Hi all,
Newcomer here. Picked up my first Ram, and first American vehicle, about 2 weeks ago. 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie (6'4" bed). Coming from a string of VW's and Nissans, with my last being a stage 2+ GTI with about 400hp and 450 lbs/ft. I've been thinking about getting a truck for a while and with all the crazy deals going on I bit the bullet. I went into town planning on leaving with an F150. Thankfully, I stopped by the Dodge dealer first since they were the only ones that replied to my email before I left. Once I sat in this truck I was sold. So was the wife. The 6'4" bed also sold me, as I wanted to be able to put my surfboards in with no issues locking them up.
Since buying I've added the side steps, sprayed in the bed liner myself, taunnou cover, rubber bed mat, tail gate bed rug, put in the tow hook plastic to clean up the holes where I put in the Baja Designs Squadron SAE fogs with amber covers, added three additional Squadrons on the license plate fog mount (2 sports, 1 Pro) wired with a relay to come on with the high beams and ill be adding two BD S2 pros as ditch lights tomorrow.
As much as I loved my GTI, I'm totally smitten with this truck.
