Fog light bulb swap question

Been reading for ages, and finally bought all the stuff to add the fog lights to my tradesman 3500, (bumper, lights, mounts, etc). Since it has been a rainy day I’d figured I’d swapped the bulbs, reading on here in they were suppose to be 9006 bulbs.... mine came as 9145

9012 won’t even fit in the hole.... so what’s the next bulb up that fits, and is brighter (while staying in the halogen bulbs)

9006 is for the vertical fogs found on the 1500s
For a conventional halogen upgrade, 9145 to 9005 is a popular conversion. You could also go with LEDs also.

I’ll try the 9005’s. I’ve got brand new ones out of the new headlights I got for my truck (did the 9011/h9 swap)

Just got home. And grabbed the new 9005’s I had leftover from the new ram blackout quads (came with bulbs in them) and the snapped right into place perfectly, and fit the harness ends I bought off amazon [emoji106]
