Hey everyone hopefully someone can help me out I have a 2012 ram tradesman and recently I saw I had the fog lights button.. But the thing is my front bumper doesn't have fog lights? I would like to have fog lights for for looks and for usage. I was wondering if I could just get a bumper with fogs and put them in would I have to wire anything up or should everything be wired from factory? Any help appreciated

You would have to get under there and look. Possibly still have to have the sales code flashed too.

Turns on the bed lights that is incorporated with your roof third brake light assembly.

^^ What these guys said. If you had fog lights, to turn them on you would push the headlight button in

You could still swap in a bumper that has the fog light holes. You would need the bumper, the light bracket and your own wiring harness/relay/switch.

The OEM fog light kit posted by lukedukem has several advantages.
All the parts you will need are there.
The factory fog light indicator in instrument cluster will work with this.
The factory fuse box under the hood is already equipped for the fogs.
You won't need to drill any holes!

I custom mounted mine in place of the tow hooks. It required a little fabrication of the mounts. If you stay with the original location of the kit, the brackets just bolt on.
