i was down at my local auto store and they have a set of hella optilux 2020 foglights site here:Hella Optilux 2020 Dual Lights | Shop Now

i dont have the foglight cutouts in my bumper, but i was told i can put a set in were the tow-hooks would go, anybody done this,

and could i just wire a toggle switch inside my cab instead of having to take it to the dealer for the switch and programming?

Yes, you can put them in the area of the tow hooks. You may have to trim some of the plastic in that area.

And yes, you can wire them independently of your stock harness.

I have Hella lights on the front of mine, too. They are wired to their own switch and power supply.

Yup...I didn't want the cheapo toggle Hella included and I did want one that lit up so I just went to Radio Shack for a couple of switches. The green one operates these and the red one will operate my next additions to the light bar. :D

It was all in the Hella install manual.

The harness provided with their light kits are the definition of plug and play. The kits come pre-wired. One connection to the battery, one to a good ground point, mount the relay and inline fuse, run the wire through a grommet on the firewall (I found 2 on the driver's side in my MegaCan), use spade connectors for each of the three leads and fasten them to the back of the switch. Biggest deal was deciding on where to mount the switches and to drill the hole.
