I just got my red led strips in the mail. Map and dome lights come this weekend.

I want them to turn on when the doors open, just like the dome light. How should I wire them up, or should I say what wires do I tap into.

See what wires go to the little door switch thing.

So just tap into those and ground my negative anywhere right? For anyone else, the driver door is purple and the passenger door is purple and white.

Thats what I would assume how you would, but there may also be a place for the dome light wires too.

Found some saying online they tapped into their a-piller, which is where the dome light wires are. Ill put some photos up when the lights are all done.

Look at your fuses and find which one is for the done light and put in add-a-fuse in

There's no specific fuse for the dome lights, just interior lights in general.

probably the cig lighter, thats what I did for the switch for my driving lights.

That's what I though and that's what I used for my air horns but he showed me which one and it was a 20 amp auxillary wire, no clue what it's for but his buddy who does remote starters and accesories showed him it
