Found this while doing my research. This is a 2wd with Readylift Kit 69-1035 for 2wd 2.25" front 1.5" rear. Tires are 35 x 12.50. New Year's Resolution :***: Plans for the Dodge 2013.

Just click on the "yellowish orange" link that says "a soilders return home". That should take you to the picture.

I personally like the stuffed look. I've seen trucks with 33 x 12.50's and the 34" 265/75/20 duratracs, and Im really just not liking the small tire look. I think the 35 is more my style.

Hey Guys. Newbie here to the forum and to the RAM, not new to lifted trucks. This is my first 2wd and I have a few questions. Do you all know of anyone who is wooking on a decent suspension kit for the newer Ram's? This leveling kit looks ok, but will you be changing your ride? It seems to me like you would get a lot of boucning in the rear and reduced travel up front. Also would using something like the Bilstein 5100 shocks help get the front end up?

Not really any options for 2 wd other than coil spacers, 5100's only work on 4wd's

On the readylift side man i dont think your gonna notice a big difference. For one, research showed me that you dont need longer shocks for a 2" lift, but Readylift provides shock extensions anyways for all four shocks. Not to mention they offer the bump stops for the front which really is just for safety if you were going to do some major off roading. I have seen a couple of guys up here rocking them and no complaints from what I've read here and other forums. Now you can find a CST performance lift and get 4-7 inches, google it. But its 1200+ depending on what you get with socks and all. Now that is ideal and what i would go with, but being I have 3 years left to pay off this truck 1200+ for a lift is not in my budget. I'll be going with the readylift, then rims and tires. Maybe when she's paid off I'll go with the CST and get it a whole lot cheaper. But even still, the CST uses a spacer in the rear.

Thanks for the feedback. I like the way you think. I know I will have this truck for quite a while. Living in a concrete jungle I decided for the first time to pass on the 4wd. I started to feel bad when I saw the lack of lift options. I'll look into the CST systems. I think it's a good choice in a while. In the mean time, like you I will probably go with the readylift setup. At least that way I can start to personalize it.
Thanks again.

Honestly the pik shows he has a good 2500+ dollars in just rims/tires. If he would have settled for something different, since it is a 2wd truck... That was a little bit more reasonable he could have got a 3-4inch lift and been better off... Those meaty tires look good, but still is only a 2wd truck, not like he is going to use them to their full potential.

I see what your saying....That truck was just one I found online, however me for instance Im going with 35 x 12.50 20 Federal Couragia MT's probably on my stock rims for now. You can get them for around $1100 to $1200. I may get aftermarket rims but I can be out the door with tires and aftermarket rims for around $1800.

What I was saying was if I spent all the money on my lift I wouldnt be able to buy the tires or rims, and that would look awful funny with a 4" lift with stock tires. Baby steps lol. Plus once you buy the rims you're happy with you have them, they're an investment. if you decide to go to a bigger lift, which I will one day, but the truck needs to be payed off.

For now it just gives my truck a different look from others in the area, and it'll satisfy me while I'm still making the payment. And I dont want a body lift, just my preference. I've read some bad reviews about some of the steering extender piece and people having problems after it was installed.

Readylift with 35's on stock= 1600
Readylift with rims and 35s = 2200
CST with rims and tires= 3400
(none of this counts install of course)

All things considered, would the better bet long term be in going with the ReadyLift 2.25" front/1.5" rear OR with the CST 4" spindle and 1.5" rear spacer???
Looking to run 35" tires on a 2013 2wd 1500, and still have a great ride on a daily driver and wear out suspension components the LEAST...so needs to look great and be quality of course but also function.

That's up to you man. Personally I dont see where the Readylift is gonna wear out components. I like the CST but it still uses a spacer in the rear and a spindle up front. With the CST you have to extend your brake lines and get new shocks also. My thought is I'll go with the Readylift cause it comes with shock extensions which some say aren't even needed but mainly because:
a) its cheaper
b) CST will probably go down in price over the years
c) and as quick as i am about getting rid of vehicles, I hate to invest too much money.

I just want to make it my own and make mine different from other stockers. So up to you in the end.

Kinda thinking along the same lines...go with the cheaper ReadyLift kit initially...and after a while if I want to go higher then CST 4" spindles and could sell the ReadyLift...
I don't want that extreme stuffed look but I also don't want a ton of clearance not needed on a 2wd that stays on the road.

Exactly. And easily probably get 250+ for it even used because who wants to spend 500. I wish I could find one used, Id buy it quick. Mine stays on the road. Im not into tearing up my 30000 dollar trucks. LOL. I just wanna look "boss" haha.

and also, the readylift comes with a 1.5" spacer which is what the CST's send you. So technically you might be able to get the spindles, shocks, and brake lines later for a lot cheaper. Why take the rear spacer out when you already got one.
