For Limited owners, the chrome start to annoy you? Possible to chg?

Hi,

I'm looking at a patriot blue limited and Laramie with the black out package.

I noticed the limited models have chrome in the front grille, around the doors, etc. For all you limited owners, does the chrome start to annoy you? Has anyone changed out the chrome?

I just really like the options in the limited.

Silly question, I know.

Doesn’t bother me too much. But I ordered painted bumpers and I am taking all the chrome badges off the paint. Then I am replacing the Ram on the front grill, badges on the hood, and rear gate with OEM black ones.

Would have preferred the outside like the Rebel with the limited interior and options. Went with a Silver limited with the ORG instead. Very happy.

Yes, it did immediately but I went into it with plans of 'fixing' it to my preference. Blacked out the window trim, door handles and mirrors with vinyl wrap, plastidiped the front hooks and replaced the badges in the hood and on the tailgate with black ones. Also removed the Ram badges on doors/tailgate. Mine also has painted bumpers so that took care of that. Nothing that I regret. When painted mirror caps come available at a reasonable price, might swap those out over the black vinyl.

I’m thinking the same. The chrome is wee bit much for my taste. I want more of the rough black out look. Not saying the chrome is bad, I just want more of a rough raw look.

- Door Trim
- Hood Hemi Emblems

This is what I’m on search for. All blacked out.

Anyone finding the 2019 replacements yet?

Does the bump strip down the side of the doors on a limited just stick on? Dont mind a lil chrome but really hate the chrome down the side but really want a new limited
