anyone using this unit have a problem of it not shutting off. ran all the wires correct and the unit is still seeing a signal and keeping the amps on after the truck is shut off. tried moving the key fob a ways away so the truck wasnt seeing that signal. cut the remote wire and still sees a signal. only way to shut it off is pull the fuse at the battery for the constant 12v. Called fosgate and they say it could be seeing the signal from the high level inputs but the truck is off...............need help to wrap this up

I had that same issue with a Kicker amp. Turned out it was a bad amp. Exchanged it and was good to go

How do your chimes, beepers and hands free calls work? Mine still isn't fully set up so I fear testing those things out in case I blow a tweeter or something.

Actually had training with ADS yesterday. It will drop the level of sound for the chimes, beeps, and what not to what factory levels where. Pretty cool stuff what the AR stuff can do.

havent checked the hands calling but all the chimes seem the same, think i did blow the rear speakers, thought i had my gains all the way down but they were all the way up and when i was having problems in the beginning it popped when i shut the truck off. now no popping or alternator whine. barely have the gains up and its so freakin loud, just have to do the custom tuning(not my thing) so my buddy is an audiophile freak that does that stuff. In the end i'm glad i didnt pay the 400 bucks to have everything installed, only took me 2 days,2 amps, 2 subs and box, dash, front and rear speakers, custom seat mod from net audio, 12 channels of rca wires(2 little ones running around crazy is a major distraction) ,this way every nut, bolt and wire tie was accounted for,and learned a little something about the dsr1.

My DSR is in now. Was working well. The park sensors are really quiet even at full volume, which is odd. Calls sound good, but while running it through its paces I lost volume control. It's either on mid volume or mute. Steering wheel controls change the volume on the screen and so does the knob, but it doesn't change the volume. I'm actually surprised how clean the sound is with the factory head unit and the DSR. Just need the bugs worked out.

It's fully updated and was working fine for about a couple hours. No time to mess with it for a couple days now. Hopefully it's something simple. It happened when I made a phone call and changed the volume on my phone during the call vs changing volume on the head unit.

It might be a pain but is there a way to do a factory reset on the DSR?

Well after leaving my truck off for a while it unfroze and went back to normal. I'm really impressed with it. Factory head unit can be turned all the way up and the audio still comes out clean with the current tune. I could get more out of the system if I tuned it for a max out at lower volume, but this way if somebody else drives the truck they won't blow the speakers and I won't be as tempted to test the limits.
