Found random blue rubber cover like thing under hood in battery tray!!

I’m at a loss I filled my windshield washer fluid up and briefly gave the engine a once over oil trans fluid etc and found this blue rubber thing sitting loose in the drivers side battery tray the truck ha 13700 miles not real sure where tf it came from please help me ole great wise ones of this forum!!!

It’s not from anything on your truck. May have been left there by a tech working on your truck.

I've got literally no idea, I've been through a few of these trucks and never seen such a thing.

Maybe grip from the end of ratchet or some kind of tool.

it's a safety cap for the crack-pipe

Is the tip kinda flat? They put different size ones on bolt threads that stick out, like a stud welded to the floor pan. That prevents the threads or assembly line workers from getting damaged.
