Hello,
Thank you in advance for any help.
About the truck: 2016 Ram 2500, 6.7L, Laramie

I was changing the fuel filter when I noticed a cable that was unplugged. I looked around and could not fined where to plug it in. It is on the driver's side of the engine. Looks like it is part of the same loom/bunch that is coming from the EGR valve actuator. While looking for a place to plug it in, I also noticed a threaded port that doesn't have anything installed in it in proximity of the unplugged wire. I've attached pictures below.

Would someone be able to tell me what these might be for? Is this something that needs to be replaced? My truck hesitates when it gets going from a stop like it's about to stall (but that's another topic) I wonder if the unplugged wire could be related to that.

Thank you again. Pictures attachedUnplugged Wire.jpgUnplugged Wire and Port.jpg
