What is the purpose of the Frame Hangers that are pointing down from the frame between the front bumper and front differential.

collision compatibility with other vehicles, so when you crash in to another car you hopefully stay upright and interface with their bumpers or side impact beams instead of climbing over and flipping over where the potential for injury is greater.
