One of the forum members, MikeG, used a clear piece of hard plastic behind his emblem. Then he added some sweet LED lights behind it. Looks awesome!

I did the same thing when I took mine off. I went ahead with the project as practice. Turns out with a little 3m tape to help hold it on you can't even tell. The ram piece covers it up.

I broke mine after about the tenth time taking it apart. I used a little jb weld and put it right back together.

gonna try that but I'm thinking it will fall off because there is very little back surface that touches it. Any ideas how to maybe make it better?

I just made sure to to put tape anywhere that the two pieces touched and close to where all the clips were out. I did mine before Christmas and its holding fine...that was a fresh picture I posted.

It might work but honestly it is half a** that way.

If it works, it works. Double-sided tape saved mine and saved me time and money. If I never told anybody it was broken, nobody would ever know.

Based on what I see above you will need some thin 3M tape from Canadian Tire anyways but seeing the chrome does cover the Edges, you just need a piece of plastic and cut it to fit the opening, Paint it with FUSION Plastic Paint (Tuff as Nails and also avail at C&T) then 3m your chrome badge to it. 3M cuts Easy and thin when Cold using sharp scissors. You Can do a trial using plastic from a fabric softner, or detergent bottle which will give you a feel for what i am talking about. best would be to get ahold of a Crazy Carpet in black which I used for Gap guards one time. It will cost you 10 Bucks for paint and 3M, so either way gonna be dough. Finally I see this as an OPortunity to Purchase a Billet Technologies BADGE and be done!

I love that logo it is a symbol or amazing. The body colored underneath is cool idea.
