A lot of people talk about front end shake after leveling, but how is everyone fixing the problem? New CV's or lowering the front differential. What works best? It's sad that my brothers heavy half Ford was topped out and the CV's were at a ridiculous angle and NO shake at all.

I haven't had any issues with my 2.5"/1.75" rcx. I know some people have vibrations in 4wd. And it seems to be hit or miss on these trucks.

The part that stinks is that I just bought the truck, drove it home from the dealer and put the Bilstines in at the 2.1 setting, now I have the vibe, but never tested it before the lift.I still cant believe that that small lift would do that!

I know this sounds silly and as far as I know no one has attempted this fix to my knowledge.

However when I put the daystar 2.5" on my 09 I developed the shake in 4wd during heavy acceleration between 0-40 mph.
My local dodge dealer fixed it under warranty. They said they rotated the front drive shaft 180% and reinstalled it. Something about the positioning and balance of the shaft. All I know is that if fixed the problem.

Good luck. I realize it is april 1st. however this is not a joke. Just in case someone is wondering.

He was talkin about The Driveshaft which I assume there is one. Rotating it sometimes fixes driveline shakes but its a 1 in 10. Thats why its important to mark location on any shaft before removal for whatever job your doing.

I had a 07 and now a 11,both had the same problem,I was hoping that Dodge would've done something to fix it.

They won't fix a problem that only arises when you modify the vehicle.

I have a small vib since putting on the Bilsteins. But nothing really serious. I eventually want to get high angle CV joints but the only time I use my 4WD is going slow.

I get the same little vibration in 4x4 but it's not that serious, goes away after 40-50 kmh. I only get it in 4x4 so I don't worry about it. Got about 30,000 km on since I installed the bilsteins and no issues with cv joints or anything so....

you could get high angle cv joint...i think they run about $800. The vibration only happens in 4 wheel drive. How often are you in 4x4 that its too much of an issue? I know for me the only time i will be in 4 wheel drive is if we actually get a winter next year...LOL

Lucky for you, your front end is completely different. The 4x4 vibrations with lift started in 06 when the changed the front end from torsion bars to coil overs

I use my 4wd a lot,and sometimes its with high load and alot of throttle in low range,I work my truck and feel this shouldn't even be an issue.

Looks like most of you guys have 4 wheel drives, but what about 2wd? I'm looking to get the daystar 1.5" or 2" coil spacers, any word on those?

since you are 2wd you have no worries about the vibration

Cool. Will I still need an alignment after I install them?

I also heard about them settling in so I won't get a true 1.5" or 2", depending on which I go with. Is that right? I have about a 2" difference, and i don't need it to be completely level cause I don't want to be nose up when I've got a load.

i'm pretty sure after leveling a 2wd you still have to get an alignment. Now you can't use the same spacers to level as a 4x4 - it's different

Yeah... The ones i found are for 2wd only, so I'm good there. The only ones out there are polyurethane tho, and I've heard they compress over time.

You could just go with Bilstein 5100s, 4 different heights to choose from then and no polyurethane to compress.
