Dealing with bugs is a two step process, removal and prevention.
For removal, our Waterless Wash works great to remove stubborn bug guts. It actually will emulsify the bugs and soften them, making for safe removal from the surface without scrathcing. If you have some areas that still don't want to come off, then clay bar would be your next resort. Lastly would be polishing the area. If the Waterless Wash and Clay Bar still leave behind some remnants, you'll likely need to machine polish them as they have etched into the clear coat.
Once you have them removed, then it's time to protect the surface to make future removal easier and more effective. You need to create a "sacrificial barrier" between your clear coat and the environment. You can go with either a high quality wax or a synthetic sealant. For bug defense, I'd recommend a sealant all day long.
Sealants provide the strongest and best protection. A product like our Quick Sealant is very easy to use and you'll get months of protection out of it.
