Front seal and seal saver

Hi all, I have an 18 3500 dually 6.7 front seal is leaking. I bought the seal kit from the dealer. I noticed that the sleeve has a bevel on one side, does the bevel go towards the motor or the end of the crank or does it not make a difference? There is no paperwork in the box. TIA Don

Bevel usually faces outward towards the end of the crank,so the seal doesn't catch and tear when you install it.
