Front tow hooks

Ok this may be a stupid question but here goes.. My truck didnt come with tow hooks and I want some but Dodge says I have to buy an entire bracket system and they are $235 +tax.. Can I get said bracket system elsewhere for cheaper or can I just install some from Auto Zone or another parts store??

I would call a used parts dealer or look in a you pick yard. I wouldn't think they would be too hard to find, and used ones wouldn't hurt anything at all.

Yea I would go to a junk yard and get what you need

They are handy to have. I've used mine more than I ever expected. Hell, I used them to pull the truck around when the fuel pump went out.

I picked mine up for Cheap! It is one Piece and ties into three bolt holes on each side of the frame just where the cheesie black plastic piece tucks away behind the Chrome. For 20 Bucks extra I added Stainless bolts and washers and tucked in some diamond in behind and a some black door edge Guard on the edge of the chrome.

There are also 2 x rear Tow hooks that came with said Option, but I missed out on those.

Thanks guys.. I have been to a few junk yards but all the ones that did have it were smashed in the front or on one of the fenders bad enough to bend them.. I still have one more to check that I didnt know was there but its a pretty good haul from my house so I am gonna call them tomorrow and see what they got before I head out there..
