Most of the aftermarket outfits get them right from Ma Mopar, you can buy just a bare block from Mopar
The 6.4 BGE blocks usually need cleaning up,as they don't have a great rep for being properly finished,so they make a good foundation to build a stroker/bigger cube engine from

Did not know that they had sufficient capacity for resale aftermarket. Thought it was only for warranty and service.

Thx

Apparently just the bare block is available from Ma Mopar in decent qauntities,at least that's what i've picked up from a few differant outfits like MMX /HHP /FRP.I forget where i read it,and it was a few years back, but alot of the 6.4 blocks turn out to be reject blocks when they're cast, basically throw away blocks in Mopars eyes, but they apparently make a good foundation to build say a 411 or bigger engine from,as they're gonna be bored anyways, and the cylinder walls can be straightened out with boring and cleaned up

I wonder how major the rejection flaws are?

I know most outfits building 426 and bigger combo's don't reconmend using the BGE 6.4 block,as apparently there is quite a discreptancy in the length of the cylinders, and the longer stroke combo's will actually pull the piston down far enough to cause issues at the bottom of the cylinder,so they usually reconmend using the earlier 6.4 block on anything bigger then a 426
