fuel door issue

any ideas to open the fuel door on 2021 ram. won't release when pushing in

I don't know if Rams are like this but are the doors locked on the truck? My wife's SUV (not Dodge) won't release the fuel door if the door to the vehicle are locked.

Lay down & look up, or remove the tire nearest the gas door





Of course the hoses are removed

The fuel doors on Ram trucks do not lock, unfortunately. I really wish they did.
