Hey all! I searched for some clues to this but tbh I’m not totally sure what to search! I recently had my oil cooler replaced on my ‘14 1500 and a few weeks later the truck failed to turn over. Every time it was turned to “on” and the fuel pump primed it would rain fuel from the top of the engine. I was finally able to discover this line was pulled just slightly (.5-1”) from its base and just dumping gas. I pushed it back and all was good. Well this morning same thing! Had to get in there and push it back. What line is this and could it just be a bad connector?

It wouldn’t turn over or just turned over without firing?

I would be headed back to whomever changed the oil cooler.

Did it smell like baking oil when there was an oil cooler issue? My 17 smells like hot oil in the cab at idle...

It would turn over but not start. At first I thought I was out of gas. Because it’s pulled away it seems like not enough fuel gets through (instead it’s on the ground) and it won’t start

Agreed, take it back to whomever replaced the cooler, they might have broke the fuel line retainer clip.

Look like a vacuum line is disconnect also

The oil cooler was leaking oil everywhere and I was overheating. Had to also replace the radiator right before that. Been a gem of a truck recently.

work was done at the dealer so I’m sure it will be hopefully a quick thing for them to address.

And I'd ask them to come and tow it back to the dealer also.

Where does this vacuum line go? It looks like it's just laying on the top of the engine.
