For those of you needing to change out a fuel pump any time soon, you need to be aware that the Delphi pump FG0474 is not a direct OEM replacement for the 3rd gen 2500 Dodges, no matter what Napa says.

The top plate is about 1/8 inch too big, the pickup has no prefilter/strainer, the pump pickup does not extend fully to the bottom of the tank, and the fuel line and electrical connections on the top are incorrectly pointed.

After fully modifying all the above, it did eventually fit. I would have returned it but I cut the indexing tab off the top I wasn't able to, and at $250 and the time it takes to pull the bed off the truck I wasn't willing to eat the cost and buy another.
