Yeah I am looking to do the plug change. Trying to decide if I should chance the Iridium or stick to the copper.

Go with Iridium to bump up the service interval to 100,000 vs the copper 30,000 interval. FCA even recommends switching to the new plugs to extend the life of them. You can run some throttle body cleaner or injector cleaner through your truck to see if you can get any of your mpg back as well. Oxygen sensors also can affect mpg loss if they are old / dirty. Also, correct me if I am wrong but you said you had the 6 speed? Unfortunately that tranny won't get the same mpg as the 8 speed just due to its efficiency. If you've got more questions, let me know!

Thanks man. I order the irridiums, just waiting on them to get here.
I was also looking into the O2 sensor as a possible issue. I am reading that there are 4 O2 sesnsors. The truck isnt throwing any codes at this stage, so how do I know which of 4 it is? Just go ahead and change all 4 as preventative maintenance?
Any recommended brands? Rock Auto has a few like Denso and Ntk?
Are all 4 sensors the same?

Alright, so the reason there is no O2 sensor codes is because none of them are "failing" quite yet, as in that they still work, but your sensors are probably not working as efficiently as a new one could. You should have one sensor in either catalytic converter, and you have one sensors directly after them, for a total of 4. There are two types of O2 sensors, upstream and downstream sensors. The upstream sensors are gonna be before the catalytic converter, (or in it) and the downstream sensors are gonna be after the catalytic converter. They are not the cheapest parts to replace, so doing all 4 would be a gamble on to see if the cost of the parts would balance out with the extra fuel mileage gained. I personally am a fan of the brand Bosch, but the NTK brand is the same as the company that makes the NGK brand spark plugs, and they make quality plugs. It is all choice of preference with those O2 sensors honestly! Good luck with it all

You can use Torque to watch the o2 sensors, even if you don't really know how to interpret them you can see if they're tracing obviously different graphs from each other.

I have a 2012 6 speed 5.7 with 3.92 gears and average 16 to 17 city and 19 to 20 highway.
How? I have the same year, trans and gears and I've been tracking my mpg's for over the past 11,000 miles (~year) with road trips and city driving only averaging: 11,315.1mi/912.00gal=12.41mpg; ~11-11.5city & ~13hwy. The highest I ever saw was only 14.92mpg on a road trip but only over a stretch of 165.9mi & while using Lucas's "Upper Cylinder Lubricant & Injector Cleaner". No discernible change in mpg with any of the mods I've done. I keep up on maintenance, tires aired properly and have under 75K miles. It's also worth mentioning that I have 2WD, muffler delete, dual tips, AFE CAI, Diablo tuner (just got it and no mpg change), clutch fan, new spark plugs, new trans fluid and the truck is perfectly level with no rake. So if you have any mods, could you share? Because I am very curious. Thank you
