So I took apart my throttle body today to clean it out and then when I got in my truck to take a drive I noticed my gas pedal was down more than usual. It was down so far that I would only put it down that far to go 75-80mph. Instead it stayed there and I have to put it to the floor to even go 45mph. I rechecked the throttle body cable and stuff to see if one broke or was loose or tight and found nothing. So I'm not sure what the problem is and why it's staying down like that. Anyone know?

It's gotta be the linkage you took apart.

I didnt even take apart the thottle body wires or anything. I just took off all the electric stuff on the right side and tilted it because everything else was a pain to get off. I grabbed all the cables thinking it was that then pulled the throttle body cable to floor my truck and it was fine. It was not tight to pull or anything. Just the gas pedal is stuck down. Guess I'll have to go back in the morning and check it all out again. Is there any springs or anything in our gas pedals that i might have broken
