Hi there,
I recently acquired a 2004 1500 ram and am having some issues with the instrument panel. The gauges all appear to be working, with one small problem, they all appear to be rotated too much clockwise.....i know, seems odd, but the speedometer starts at 40 km/hr (the gauge still reads correctly in that when i am doing 100km/hr it reads 140 km/hr), the temp gauge reads warm when it is for sure cold, and everything else is off to the right as well.
I tried the simple gauge check (trip meter in, turn on key, release trip meter) and they go through the checks. Funny thing is the speedo goes way off scale and when its done returns to the 40 km/hr marker....odd.
Has anyone else ran into this issue, and if so is there a quick fix or is a replacement cluster the only option.
Thanks,
Luke
