Im looking into changing my old gauge cluster this one:

To this one:

And was just wondering if anyone knew if i would have to bring it in a dealership to get the correct readings and current mileage and what not. Or if its plug and play and my computer would automatically straighten everything out. Thanks.

I changed my speedometer cluster on my 2012 ram hemi 1500 to the EVIC cluster from a 2012 ram. Everything was plug & play, There is 4 slots on the back of cluster but you only use 3. Only thing that didn't transfer was the mileage. I would not go to dealership for this because from what I've read on this forum they will require you to purchase brand new EVIC cluster from them & you have to leave your truck at dealership until they install part & transfer mileage. From what I understand dealership will not install a used cluster. Another option is take your vehicle to afterhoursmopar in florida & John Rodriguez can transfer the mileage to new cluster only problem is he has to have truck in front of him to do this. Hope this helps.
