Alot of us on here dont talk about our other cars at home Decided to give the ram a break since I haven't gotten my nitrous setup finished. We have a 2012 ford taurus sho awd ecoboost (I know guys give me a break lol ) it's the old lady's dd and I've been wanting to mod it but obviously my truck comes first haha. Anyways took it to the track last night to get a baseline run in. Funny part is I put all this money and want to drag race my truck when I have another car at home that has more potential but oh well love my ram. But I took it last night was only able to make one pass. Car is bone stock the da was+2000 and still managed to run a 14.1 @99mph with a crappy 2.1 60ft . Weighed it after 4700lbs with me and a yeti cooler in the back. Plan to get a custom tune, methanol and hopefully run some high 12s . Here's a pic from last night.

Take the Yeti out and that will save you a few hundred pounds. I love my Yeti but it is heavy.

That's quick, I didn't know they were that heavy. I had a '91 SHO 5 speed and it was pretty fun just wrong wheel drive. I always dream of a rear drive version like the super coupe but 4 doors and high revving. I think mine was only 3300 lbs or so. Yamaha motor.

They are fun. Traded in an Explorer Sport for the Ram. It was basically an SUV version of the SHO. Pretty much indentical running gear, brakes, and suspension.

I had a 95 SHO. Best night was when my buddy has his but kicked in his 71 cutlass by a turbo shelby car. He came into where I was working all dejected and told me about it. To make him feel better to told him to find they guy and we could run him in my SHO so we could both lose. I had just moved back from college for the summer and my trunk was loaded. We went out and ran him 2x and smoked him, and mine was the slower 3.2/auto.

It's a cool and comfortable 4 door car.. nothing wrong with that at all. I had a 2010 Sho that I traded in for my 2010 SRT8 Challenger. To be honest I should have kept the SHO. I GOT HER down to 12.4's back in 2010 before I traded it.. They love mods and are fun cars..

Thanks guys. I was suprised it ran so well in that heat. Let it cool down for a long time but it took over and hour in staging lanes so it was heat soaked alot. Yeah deff next time car will be empy. Buddy's were drinking all night lol. Enjoy driving it they really are nice cars. Have more features than most cars I've seen. The cooled and massaging seats feel awsome haha.

What all mods did you have? Plan on getting a tune from unleashed, 3 bar map, methanol , and some sort of exhaust setup. Don't want it too loud. I actually did the blow off valve mod so you can hear em she loves it lol. Always building boost and letting off to hear it.

I had an unleashed tuned explorer sport that I traded for my ram. My best 60' was a 1.8 and best 1/4 was 13.7. The ecoboost motor responds so well to tuning. Stock I ran a 14.4.
