Now just to let the guy know so we can schedule to do it on a weekend.

Ok I've got everything for the install, this week they well be installed also. Now i'm starting to get scared BC I remember a thread were the housing needed to be ground along with the pin. And also the spanner tool is still getting to me lol.

what gears did you get again? Motives? your guy should know what to do if he runs into any clearance issues...05's didn't have housing issues, it was 06/07's I believe... also, if you do run into the pin issue, let him know that it is better to shave a little off the gear tooth to fit it as opposed to shaving pin.. (I spoke to a gear shop regarding this)... just have an angle/die grinder handy..

No a guy I work with needed new gears for his 37's and 4.7.... So traded me a pistol for them, and I picked up a set of motive 4.56's to throw in there lol

good luck, i just openned the rear yesterday so that I could replace the rear wheel bearings...it was easy with a slide hammer an bearing puller kit..

Well the guy doin it said I might as well replace the outer bearings and seals to make the WHOLE differential new lol.
So someone make sure I've got everything Hahaha

Master install kit
Gears
spanner tool
New cover
Differential fluid
LSD fluid
New U joints
Outer axle bearings
Outer axle seals.....
Oh and $$$$ Hahaha

Makes sense, axle bearings an seals are a piece of cake to do with a bearing puller and slide hammer..

i'm about ready to do my gears again as i about fried mine pullin a trailor at high speeds up a bunch of grades goin from Cali to Colorado.. my master kit is here, just gotta dig up the old 3.92's and install while saving for a new gear set..

I need ring gear bolts!!!
The guy told me he would prefer me buy brand new ring gear bolts.
Were can I get new ones?
I will be dropping the truck off with him next Friday for him to work on it all weekend.

I can get these for you. Last time I checked, I think these were about $4-$5 each. My differential supplier isnt open on the weekend, so I will call them Monday to check on this for you.
