Lol yeah they ain't cheap. Seems to be what most of the high hp fellas are running, that actually hold up without issue. And they just came out with direct fit for the 9.25zf, late last year I think it was.

Just saw the ZF version on Summit racing. Once im done my 4.56 gear swaps and Cam swap ill start saving up for that one.

Do you have the OE limited slip in the truck currently? I can get some of the OE limited slip diffs pretty cheap most of the time. There are also plenty of salvage yard units available that you could slip in there until you save you peanuts and get the one you want. I have installed quite a few this year along that came from my local parts yards and dismantlers.

Check with Matt at Moes,he should have the later ZF specific True Trac back in stock. It's way cheaper to do now then when i did mine several years ago.Back then you had to convert the ZF 9.25 back to the earlier corporate AAM 9.25 which meant you were buying new ring and pinion and an extra axle. I quit counting when it was just over 2G Canuck to do mine,i think now you can do a true Trac for right around 1G Canuck. The Yukon doesn't have a great rep,Matt (Moes) quit carrying them as he was having to warrenty about every 2nd one he sold if i remember what he was saying awhile ago.

Second pattern is good. The way I check patterns is to rap a rag around the yoke like you’re strangling it and turn the ring a couple of turns forward & backward.

Also you’re not torquing the pinion nut, you’re crushing the sleeve and setting preload on the pinion bearings.

Just make sure you put some RTV in the pinion splines to seal them, oil can wick up the splines

Does this 9.25 have the side screw adjusters like the old 9.25’s?
