I have RWD Ram 1500 with mud tires. I want to know if there is a way to drop to a lower gear. Having trouble making it up the hill.

What gears do you have in it now? You could always go to 3.92s if you currently have 3.21s and it would help. Have you adjusted the speedometer for the tires if they’re taller than stock? That might help too.

you don’t need lower gears you need a locker and a front axle and a transfer case
