I have an 05 3500 as well as an 03 2500 both being drug around by a Cummins 5.9L. The 03 has lived a good life but is needing retired. It has the 6 speed manual with 4x4 and the 05 has an automatic with 4x4as well which I want to swap. Mechanically, I don't believe there are any issues with the swap, the only thing I'm concerned with is what pitfalls I will need to watch out for. Will I need to swap out the ECM or other electronic devices to complete this change? Let the wrenching begin!
