Glass Residue Removal Help

So since day one my glass outside has had a residue. I have been theru a few washes yet it still there. Std glass cleaner doesnt work.
I have good water at my house and no problems with hard water or excessive water spots on the paint.
The residue looks like water spots, more evident when wet or while drying, streaky in nature, and you can even tell where the windows were put partially down befpre.

I could try some vinegar and water I have. Any other ideas?

hold a razor blade and scrape it off. that is generally what i use for any residue stickers etc.

Well got home today and tried the ol vinegar with water. Now glass is crystal clear...except for the tint...lol
Came right off and shined. Kjowing last night I washed the truck you would never know with how dirty the terry cloth got.

razor blade works great.. even seen them used to remove water spots from chrome bumpers lol
