Good deal on Penz Oil Platinum.

Jiffy Lube wants $10 a qrt for Penz Oil Plat. Of course my local JL does not have it in 5w-20 so i had to order some.

Amazon has 5 qrt jugs for $28 thats $5.6 a qrt. Sounds pretty good.

Walmart may have similar price but they do not have the 5w-20 here either.

They have it at Wal-Mart around here.I get it at advanced auto for 21.00 for 5 qts with a purolator filter. That's the price with a mail in rebate. It's like 7 something for a additional qt.

The Autozone does not have it here in 5w20. either. I will call Advance and OReilys too just to see. The JL I plan to use is 4 mins from my place. They will charge $24 for labor and I can stand right there and watch them, not bad

On amazon if you have prime you can get ultra platinum pure plus for 28 a 5 qrt jug in 5w-20 pretty solid deal to me.

just visited local WM on our weekly grocery adventure... Strolled over to the Automotive section...

Pennzoil Platinum & Ultra was shrunk down to 2 rows... 5W-20 was the only viscosity now.. No Qts on shelf for either! What a Pathetic distribution system Pennzoil has...
I asked the worker in the dept why the shrinkage of shelf space? He replied they have ordered and re-ordered all Viscosity's and Selections of Pennzoil synthetics to fill the shelves in their proper space... Every time the order comes back Out of Stock...

I myself will be going back to M1 for my winter oil change... If the Ultra selection is not back in stock by then... A consumer should not have to order online a product that is advertised and hyped as much as Pennzoil Pure Plus Oils... Really a Shame {Ultra has proven to be a Stellar Oil}..

If Jiffy Libe carried the 5w-20 it would be super convenient for me since JL Is 4 mins away. I guess for me ordering it from Amazon not really inconvenient. It will arrive tomorrow, i will go to Jl. Watch them change the oil then take off on a mukti state road trip the next day.
