OK. I have the basic 130 radio in my 2012 Ram Express. I don't want to mess with my steering wheel, but would like to have controls closer to my hands. Would it be possible to get the steering wheel controls from a salvage yard truck, mount them on the dash behind the steering wheel and tie in to the radio? OR......would there be a way to mount the steering wheel controls in the blank space(I have a regular cab) on the door panel where a quad or crew rear window controls are located? I know I could replace the wheel, but would rather not. Thanks for any thoughts or ideas. Perhaps someone has already done this and has pix!?!?!

You can get the steering wheel controls and wire it all in yourself, you justs need to have the dealer flash the computer to activate them.
