Good morning, I recently purchased a 2013 Ram 1500 Bighorn, with only 84k miles on it. Great truck! Currently upgrading the Uconnect 8.4 VP3 CA radio to a Uconnect 8.4 VP4NA from a 2017 Ram Rebel. It’s a great truck, and I love it!! Now that I have NAV too, I love it even more, lol. $100 and a 55 mile drive to go get the radio, 5 minutes with the dealer to get the unlock code, and it’s very cool. Love how it pops up the turns on th center of the instrument dash! Glad to be here,
Charlie

Welcome, from Southeast Ohio! Good find on the radio but the navigation still sucks compared to Google or Waze :p

Hi, my name is Charlie, I’m from N.W. Ohio! I bought my first Ram 1500, a 2013, last summer, and I will say that it’s a great truck. Traded my 2007 Chevy Avalanche in on it, (another great truck) and I have been having fun on this thread. Did the tailgate assist, and a SuperChips tune on it. Also upgraded the Uconnect 8.4 VP3CA to a 2017 8.4 VP4 NA,and now have navigation! I am very glad to find this forum, and all the information and people here. I just successfully programmed the USB, Aux, and SDCard with AlphaOBD, all is working well! Thanks and God Bless!
Merry Christmas

Welcome Charlie. I'm an Ohio boy now located in SE Michigan. My work dried up in the fall of 1998, and GM was recruiting in Cleveland, so I joined up and moved to Michigan. But my heart will always be in Ohio.

I lived in Perkins Township for several years, kept my boat in the Huron River, and had a season's pass to Cedar Point. My biggest daily challenge at that time was whether to ride coasters or go fishing.

My first ever Chrysler product was a 2013 RAM Laramie. I was nervous about going to a brand I knew little about, but the RAM made me rethink it all, and I drove that vehicle for 9 years before deciding to refresh to a 2022 Longhorn ECODiesel. I also have a 2015 RAM HD with the mighty Cummins I use for my towing needs. Both of my current RAMs, as well as my 2013 RAM, didn't give me any issues other than what seemed to be a never-ending stream of recalls.
