Traded in my 2017 Big Horn. I bought it used, with 23,000 miles on it, a former Enterprise rental. Most would say they would never buy a former rental, but my experience was a great one. This was the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Traded it with 112,000 miles on it. I had developed a tick at start up, likely manifold bolts. I stopped after a minute or so, and ran just fine after that. I replaced two sets of tires, two batteries, and oil/filter changes, and a couple of sets of wipers. NOTHING ELSE at all. No suspension parts, no engine components, nothing. I really liked driving it. It has a bench seat, crew cab, and 6 ft 4 bed. Also had the convince groups, so 8.4 inch screen, parksense, power fold mirrors and a few other things. I did not realize when I got it that it is such a rare combination. Used it to pull my snowmobile trailer, and our 27 foot camper with no issues.
Wanted to upgrade, and get it paid off before I retire, so now was the time to make a move. Otherwise, I would have kept it.
Looked for another with the same configuration - could not find one anywhere, new or used. Lot or longer beds with quad cabs, crew cabs with 5 ft 7 in beds, only a few with bench seats. Finally decided to let the bench seat go, crew cab and longer bed more important to me. Found one with the options I wanted at a dealer (not the one 2 miles from home), and pulled the trigger. This one has the 12 inch screen, adaptive cruise, heated seats and wheel, car play, fold out step under the bumper and some other things. The SST motor is really nice, super smooth and quiet. Looks like I will pick up 2 - 3 MPG. Lets hope they hold up as well as they look like they might. Seems to be great in the Grand Cherokee, and reviews in the truck so far are good. By coincidence the new truck is the same color as the old one.
