He took over a thriving RAM and forced euro values and ran it into the ground in record pace. He became CEO in 2021, what a debacle stellantis forced RAM into. Tim really turned Ram around AGAIN., he should be giving credit for it. If they did not fire that euro fool traverous piece of garbage or at least force him out, ram would be like Pontiac, beloved but gone. Tim talked about what Tavares did to tank Ram, not buying needed carbon credits which forced the direction of di turbo and e torque over the hemi. Talk about your boss making your job 1 million times harder?

In 2026 the Bighorn, highest selling trim level being about what the rest of the trim levels combined sell, had the hemi available but not the e version. Tim said this was intentional due to the lack of love for the e version. Is the e available on the Bighorn for 27 now?

The truck you're looking at only has the 5.7,so why would you be considering this truck over a 5.7 Rumble Bee,which might hold it's value,where as the truck you're looking at now won't hold it's value due to it being an e-torque truck

Ive been eyeballing looking at new trucks these past few months, mostly 2500s. Those 6.4s dont do much better than the 5.7s that Ive been reading, and Im not sure about what the maintenance on a 6.7l Cummins on a month to month basis would look like financially (and Im not sure Im ready for that yet).

I want a toy. I guess you can say Im at that mid-life crisis point; Im at an impasse where people around here frown upon supercharging my 5.7L, or second option toss in a 6.4L SRT hellcat motor. That Rebel has a LOT of things Ive been looking for that my ram doesnt have; Ill flat out be honest - I regret buying this one. Not even close to worth the amount of money Ive put into it by far. I need a crew cab with lots of storage space, halfway decent off-road capability from the factory that I can potentially soup up to the +500hp mark without insane modifications that I can both 4 second 0-60 and some hobby off-roading without buying another lift kit or heavily upgrading the suspension and tranny. I can do without that as I only WANT to keep that option on the table because to me being able to go off-road may someday be a survival need. I like taking my dogs places; at the same time I want to die from all the h e r p ees Im going to get with my sweet ride.

I will never....EVER...buy an inline 6 unless its a Cummins. Even if it comes with a turbo or two. Given how bad Ive seen Stellantis destroy Jeep (and pretty much MOPAR), I stay FAR AWAY from new engine designs.

It is very likely there wont be e-torque in hemi's in 2027 maybe 2028. It wont be the 250, but wait a year or so and you will have a great ram.

For me, it's not about the price, it's the use case. I have a PW. Zero need or desire for the TRX. The street oriented Rumble Bee is much more interesting to me.

Same here. A TRX is nice and may be the fastest production truck to date (with an ICE engine), but everyone around here has one.

The fix isn't that horrible, the real terror comes from them not stocking any Etorques and customer being without his truck for months with no relief. Its probably around 4g's give or take, so buying a Cummins with their issues is more risky on the cost if something fails, but at least they'd fix it.

Yeah Ive been so on the fence these past few months on finding a new Ram of sorts. Ive test driven over a dozen different Rams these past few months and that Rebel was the only thing that really excited me. Lots of time looking while my truck sat in the body shop getting repaired...
