Got a code on upload....

On went to upload the 3685 I got from JJ and it saves stock file, then I tells me and error on upload??? Code t-42, then tried again and it dis the same thing... But code t-48. Plz help. Thanks in advanced

Ive gotten general error twice on mine. Dont have a clue what that means so i just tried again and it worked. Hope you can get yours goin'

Well still error, t42code. With all the research IM finding on the superchip website it's looking like imma have to go get my pcm reflashed! Oh well guess it's off to the stealership.......

Before you go to the dealership hook a battery charger up to your truck while your trying to load the tune. Have everything off in the truck also, the trucks are sensitive to voltage changes and might be causing the tune error.

Ok I'll try that. Is it usual for the tuner to make the dash lights and headlights come on and off???

yeah, it does that. Sometimes it would whisper sweet nothings in my ear too. Pretty slick unit!

And also is it normal for it to get to 81% on the saving file 1 screen and stop?? Then go through regular saving stock file 2??

errrrr.................never saw that on my truck, but I only had 1 file. (different in the newer trucks)

Imma give it a rest for tonight. I'll be able to get ahold of superchip tomorrow. Then if all else fails I'll go get the pcm reflashed..... Does anyone know how much that will run me???

Well the dealer is wanting to charge me $300 to reflashed the pcm,tcm,and skin key...... Is there any other way???

You need to call Superchips, they can help you out better. It sounds like you might have locked up the tuner by messing something up in the download. But I haven't had one in a long time so I can't verify that.
