So after 3 years of ownership of my 2015 2500 I’m busily trying to keep it looking new.
I noticed the driver’s door vinyl trim had a wrinkle and so did the right side doors. After a little research (Youtube) I decided to remove the vinyl. It is very easy to do and certanly changed the look of the truck. I used a heat gun. With just the right amount of heat the vinyl comes right off and takes most of the glue with it. Too cool and the glue is left behind. I like the new look.

I did that to my last truck and liked the end result a lot better than the vinyl. Im waiting for some warner weather before I do it to new truck. IMHO its a cleaner look

I do the same on day 2 of ownership. Parked it in the sun, waited 30minutes and they peeled right off no issues.
