Got my new wheels

I was more interested in the tires. I bought some ProComp 50 series 20x9 and can’t decide on tires. I would get the Falkens but their sizes are limited. Looking at 285/60 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They measure 33.7x11.5. I think they would look good.

What size lift/level do you have?

Just read reviews on tread wear, unless that's not an issue for you.

I’ve never kept a vehicle past 30k so not really an issue.

I’m having bils installed Monday to 2.8 and 1.5”’spacer... anyways. I’m going with 295/60r20 Cooper AT3 XLt

I would love to find a similar look. With the black and the chrome on my truck, I think it would look great. I don't know about all these measurements that people talk about. I feel like the more I read the less I know about wheels vs tire sizes, offsets etc. I looked at the tire/wheel faq's but they are looking pretty dated. Anybody know if they are still valid for the 2018's

Yes. That math doesn’t change. Neg offset means more outside of the fender. Pos offset is more inside the fender. 0 offset is centered in the fender well.

There a few good tire offset and size calculator sites. Just find the specs of your existing rim and then the specs of the new rim you're looking at, and it will show the difference.

I have the AEV mesa's but the opposite you are talking about. Love these wheels, perfect offset and look! I considered the ones you are talking about but...in the end, my daughter picked these so....

This is not how offset works. It has nothing to do with placement in the fender although it changes the placement in the fender.

Offset is based off the center of the wheel. Zero offset is the exact center of the wheel. If it is a positive offset the mounting face of the wheel is more toward the outside lip of the wheel and if it is negative it is more toward the Inide lip of the wheel.

Not saying I would do this but,,,If I went for those wheels and tires which would change my rig from 20" wheels to 18's what else would that effect. I guess I would need to have my speedometer recalibrated. Any thing else I would sacrifice. would it just be a direct swap? or would I need to do something else to accomplish it?
