ok guys.....today a lifted ford pulled up next to me at a light id say about a 99 model. he offered to race. so I took em up on it. I left his ass at the light.....so after an hr or 2 of running erands I go to pass a car so I punch it. I look in the side mirror and see a little bit of smoke coming out of my tail pipe. so I let off.....it quit. so I punch it again and it get up to about 4200 rpm and does it again......so my point is why does it smoke a little at high rpm? my intake gaskets are brand new and this motor only has about 113k or so on it.....16k or so is my miles.

any help is appreciated seeing as I really want this fixed :(

It is impossible to say with the information given. But I'd start with a compression check. Smoke on deccel points at valve seals, smoke on accel points more toward blow-by. Good luck..

blow by? as in bad rings?

Yes, as in improper sealing. The compression test should help identify the cylinder. Also reading the plugs should point at the cylinder burning oil.

Great, then you have a base line to compare the new numbers with.

what should I look for on the plugs? soaked in oil?

They will show evidence of burning oil. More oil you are burning the wetter they will be.

Yup, comp and leak down test time.

You might also check to see if your intake has any oil in it from the PCV. Non-Mopar PCV valves have the tendency to suck in more oil.....which makes smoke.
