Hi everyone. Hope someone can shed some light on my problem.

I recently bought a 2012 ram 1500 sport with 200k (km) on it. I got it for a really good price and knew there was some problems.

The most annoying one right now is, when you drive at cruise or idle the rpm will dip slightly sending a annoying ping (chime). It recovers right away and you don't feel or here in in the actual idle. The battery tested weak so I replaced it. Cleaned and relearned the TB.

It currently has 3 permanent codes,
P0563 (battery voltage low)
P0032 (O2 sencors 1/1 heater cerc high)
P1524 (Oil pressure out of range)

These codes where before the weekend, it was overdue for oil change. I changed oil and oil pressure sencors just as a precaution. Also changed the battery, but have not yet read the codes again, will do when I'm back at work on Monday.

I hoped the rpm dip would have stopped, bit no luck. Any insight would be appreciated.

Regards

Check your intake manifold bolts , these tend to loosen on a regular basis. 108 inch pounds
Start in center and work outwards in a circle.
8mm or 5/16” 1/4 “ drive ratchet , or nut driver is all that needed .
These should be checked at least every year , or oil change.
Thanks to Wild one for this info , been following it for several years now , and it holds true.
