Not wanting to spend over $400 for ANOTHER Ram rat-s--t battery, I had it replaced at a non-Ram dealer. All is fine and all the bells and whistles work, tow-haul, auto leveling, back up cameras, etc., except the 14 inch sccreen, which remains blank, no maps, no radio, etc.
Any help out there would be appreciated

Unhook your battery terminals touch the 2 terminals together TRUCK SIDE not the battery side for about 15-20 mins This will drain/reset everything see if that works.

Does the radio work? A similar thing happened on my 2018. I was doing some shopping, returned to start the truck, and the display was blank, no radio, etc.

The cause was a loose fuse in the wiring under the hood. In the 4th gens, the radio fuse is in a harness near the master cylinder.

Thanx. There is an easy soft reset using the two radio buttons. I found it on AI

Did this soft boot solve your problem and cure the GPS black screen?

For future reference, the 20A fuse F44, in the fuse box under the steering wheel, is for the radio on your 5th gen.

As part of routine maintenance, many Ram owners of 4-gen trucks periodically press on all the fuses and relays because they seem to move out a couple of millimetres from fully seated.

I would expect the 5-gen to be the same.

Having fuses unseated has occasionally been connected to erratic electrical gremlins.
