Hello folks.
I inherited a 2010 Ram 2500 crew cab long bed from my FIL recently. It has just over 82000 on it and is in pretty good shape.
I'm retired Army Infantry 86-2009.
My wife and I are both from Long Beach CA and like many others in the military moved around a good bit. I was stationed in Hawaii, Washington, Louisiana, Korea x2, Georgia, and Kentucky. We've since settled down in Alabama near Columbus GA (Fort Benning). There's a lot less traffic, smog, gangs, crime, and the cost of living is far better then CA. Top that off with open carry and $30 CCW permits and it's damn near heaven!!
We do a lot of camping and boating in the summer. My wife is a teacher so she has the summers off. Works out great.
All of my diesel experience is from older HMMWVs back in the 80s so I'm sure to ask a lot of rookie questions.
