Grill inserts

Does anyone here have pictures or tips on how to remove the grill inserts on the 09 to 12 ram 1500. I have a 12 and almost had it done this weekend but couldn't figure out how to get the top undone.

To clarify I mean removing the chrome grill inserts from the outside chrome grill frame. Was gonna pull them and paint them.

Not just clips?

I did my 15 today. While it might be different, I imagine it's similar. Find the clips and slowly and patiently pry them to the side with a screw driver. Rule of thumb, if you have to force it, it will break.

Yah it has clips for the bottom and middle of the inserts. The top wouldn't budge. Lots of black plastic at the top. Was sure to break it so stopped.
