Rustoleum make a 2X paint in a rattle can that adheres to plastic very nicely. Skip the dip and paint it, it will last a LOT longer [DAMHIKT]

I'd use a professional body shop and use automotive paint.
The grill surface takes a beating over the years, and quality automotive paint will last longer. If you can remove and install the grill yourself it will save you money.
Since you're not trying to match anything, you will have a broad choice of paints.
Also, look into a quality wrap. I think a carbon fiber wrap would look good.

Get your paint code in a rattle can, do your research and prep properly, then use spray max 2k clear. Trying to use cheaper paints will just end up peeling in a couple years.
