Albertan at at 5 F. Sweater goes on at -5 or so. What we call cold is -55, and yes, you can tell if you have shutters or not by how fast it warms up. You can also tell on the highway if you don't have them.
There's 2 sides to the shutters,just make sure you leave 1 top and 1 bottom shutter in place on each side,the middle ones you can remove.Removing just 2 isn't gonna do much,either leave them alone or remove all the middle ones.Thank you all for the info. I may just pop out 1 or 2 and see the results. It's the easy way to start there.
Recently, it seems that the Mr Gasket thermostat seems to be the most reliable. I installed a 160.I seem to remember the consensus that all 180 aftermarket tstats are crap, are there any decent options?
