I have the chrome "Denali" looking grill on my truck from the factory. You know, the one that has the mesh in it. I am not knocking it for someone who likes that type of grill, but I personally don't like it. Too much chrome for me in one area. But anyway, what do yall think it would look like if I took the mesh out and painted it flat black, then sanded just the front of the mesh so that the outer edges were kind of a satin looking aluminum kinda finish? I would be actually scuffing up the leading edges of the chrome. If It doesn't look good, I could always just paint the scuffed up parts and end up having a black mesh. The "frame" of the grill would still be chrome. Opinions, please.

I think it would be a good idea. Take a photo and post it up in the Photoshop section to get someone to give you a preview.

I tried this a while back and no one responded. I felt like a lonely little teenager with no friends...............
