I have the aries 5058 and the top brackets that fit between the hood amd headlight is rubbing on my hood, if i adjust the hood bump stops even slightly the hood wont latch shut... Am i doing something wrong or should i shave down the brackets just a tad where they rub? I will post a picture in the am.

Do you really need those brackets? I’ve seen trucks with the Aries pro grill guard mounted without them.

With them on there is no wiggle or moving them by hand, with them off i can slightly move them. When it comes down to it, in a impact those two little brackets will do nothing other then probably ruin my head lights so i am better off taking them off. However the thought of there being any movement when they are off bothers me. I guess right now its doing more damage being on then off.
