Grille lights

Hey Gang. Santa brought me a sweet raptor style grille for Christmas. Love it. Been looking through all the threads about wiring the lights. Stupid question possibly...if I tie into the parking lights will they flash with the hazards? I use my hazards for work and thought it might be cool if they flashed with the hazards. If not, feel free to tell me it's not cool at all

If the lights on the grill have three wires then yes but if it has two you can do one or the other. I'm sure there is a way to do it with adding some relays but I'm not that knowledgeable with detailed electric.

You could use an NO relay in line with the parking lamp feed so that under normal parking lamp operation the lights are illuminated and then when the turn signal kicks on they cut power to flash in an opposing fashion with your hazards. That being said you'd also need to feed from both sides with diodes to keep from cross feeding your turns to only get the flashing when the hazards are used. Otherwise it would just be tied into one of your turn signals and not be very useful IMO.

Thanks guys. My electrical knowledge is slim to say the least so I'll probably stay away from trying to make them flash....for now . Until then, I need to study up and get an interpreter to explain your suggestion @joshuaeb09.

Ended up tapping into the 12V outlet fuse. Lights on when truck is on. Not exactly DRL's but still cool looking.

Where is the 12V outlet fuse? I want to do this.

I tied mine into the fog lights.
