Looking for ground clearance on a 2020 0r 2021 3500 Laramie CCSB Diesel. About 1/2 the sites list 11.2". The others list 8.5". Anyone know why the two different measurements and if one is correct?

Just a guess, but the 8.5" is probably at the diff and the 11.2" is probably the bumper.

I think you may be correct. Most sites just list it once as "ground clearance" half the time 8", the other half 11". But I found a site in Canada (FCA CANADA 2020 Ram 2500 & 3500 Heavy Duty SPECIFICATIONS), that lists every possible spec and lists it like this:

Suspension or Axle to Ground – Front 188 (7.4) 236 (9.3)
Suspension or Axle to Ground – Rear 216 (8.5) 217 (8.5)
Ground Clearance 281 (11.1) 333 (11.1)

Excuse my lack of understanding please, but if axle or suspension to ground is 8.5" then how does "ground clearance" get measured at 11"?

the higher number is probably referring to ground clearance of sprung weight.

Dealer here has no inventory right now. Called Dealer in next town, also no inventory.

Whoops - That is GMC dealer. The Ram dealer had almost nothing last week but I will have to check currently. Right now the only way to get a truck around here is to order and wait.

Anyway this thread has been resolved. There are two measurements, the shorter one is at axles I believe.
