Had my first oil/filter change today at 4,000 miles.

Had the oil/filter changed plus front drive shaft lubed(Ram dealership) in my 2016 2500 ram today.Had quite the discussion with the Tech who insisted there was NOT a grease fitting on the front drive shaft.I asked him to put it up on the hoist and showed him the grease fitting,he was amazed it had one.

There is even a sticker in the engine compartment telling you to grease it....it is on the same side as the dip stick and filler so you do not miss it.

I did watch him grease it after it was on the hoist.Mind boggling how some folks refuse to listen and learn..

Yes. As mentioned, there is a sticker on the radiator shroud that mentions the fitting and is part of the scheduled maintenance.

Boggles my mind,sad but true..I believe some folks are just flat ass lazy and do not want to do there jobs correctly.

That and lube techs have a poor life expectancy at their jobs due to the low pay and the caliber of people that brings in.

by "front axle" are you talking about the driveshaft you mentioned.....or am i missing something about actually lubing the front axle.

There is a Chrysler dealer in my area that advertises the greasing service for the HD's front driveshaft, $35.00.
